Day 1
Fly to Beijing, China
Day 2
Arrive in Beijing, meet your English-speaking local guide who will transfer you to your hotel, The Opposite House. Rest of the day at leisure to relax and unwind.
Day 3
Morning tour of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Have lunch at a local restaurant with guide and spend the afternoon touring the Summer Palace.
Day 4
Morning excursion to the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu Section with cable car ride.
On the return to Beijing, visit Ming Tombs imperial burial grounds and stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 5
Morning tour of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing.
Afternoon - take a high-speed train to Xi’an. Meet your local English speaking guide who will transport you to your hotel, The Sofitel at Reman Square.
Day 6
Morning tour of the Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum
Afternoon visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Dinner show- Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. An impressive view of ancient China including its splendid history, brilliant arts, distinct traditions and customs.
Day 7
Morning train to Chengdu. Meet your local English-speaking guide and visit three parallel ancient city alleys and 45 courtyards among them, this is one of Chengdu’s historical and cultural reserves. Transfer to hotel, The St. Regis Chengdu after the tour.
Day 8
Morning visit to Chengdu Panda Breeding Center.
Afternoon train to Chongqing, meet your English- speaking driver for transport to board the Yangtze River Cruise for a 3-day excursion.
Day 9
Full day sailing the Yangtze, excursion to Fengdu Ghost City.
Day 10
Full day sailing the Yangtze, sail through the Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge.
Day 11
Morning - sail the Yangtze and see the Three Gorges Dam.
Disembark at Yichang, meet your English speaking guide and driver for a quick tour of Yichang on the way to the airport and fly to Guilin. Meet your English-speaking driver in Guilin for transportation to your hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin.
Day 12
Morning choice of Bike riding along the Yulong River or rafting
Afternoon private English-speaking guide to the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Hill
Day 13
Morning transfer to the Li River dock to board your leisurely cruise on the scenic Li River including lunch.
Afternoon transfer to your hotel, The Banyan Tree Yangshuo.
Day 14
Full day trip to Longji Rice Terraces by car and guide. Return to hotel in Yangshuo.
Day 15
Morning flight from Guilin to Shanghai.
Afternoon meet your local English-speaking guide for a tour of the Shanghai Tower, Yu Garden, the Bund, and Nanjing Road before checking into your hotel, the Fairmont Peace Hotel.
Day 16
Depart for Home
